ResMed closes year strong, says CEO

SAN DIEGO – ResMed has reported revenues of $623.6 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2018, a 12% increase compared to the same period of 2017. It reported revenues of $346.7 million for the quarter in the U.S., Canada and Latin America, a 10% increase; and revenues of $40.4 million for Brightree, a 12% increase. It reported a net income of $109.8 million for the quarter, an 8% increase. For all of fiscal year 2018, ResMed reported revenues of $2.3 billion, a 13% increase compared to 2017; and a net income of $315.6 million, an 8% increase. “We closed out the year with strong performance across all aspects of our business, from solid top-line revenue growth—driven by geographically balanced results across our entire portfolio of offerings—to continued improvements in operating leverage, which has resulted in double-digit bottom-line growth,” said Mick Farrell, CEO.
